About The Chesapeake Learning Center

West Nottingham Academy created the Chesapeake Learning Center in 1984 to provide additional structure and support for those who needed it.

We are one of the first in the nation to have a platform of its kind, provides an individualized and comprehensive program that recognizes both a student’s talents while addressing learning challenges through the remediation of deficit academic proficiencies, the development of specific executive function/compensatory skills, and the acquisition of appropriate accommodations. Through psychoeducation testing by our consulting Educational Psychologist, we are able to apply the CLC program to different learning disabilities, ADHD, executive function, spectrum disorders, and reading, writing, and math remediation.
