Scootie Lambert Dabbs is a 1996 graduate of WNA. During her academic career, she was a 4 year day student and very involved in on-campus activities including SGA, Peer Development Leader, an Admissions tour guide, and Yearbook. She also played field hockey and softball (for which she was a captain), girls lacrosse, and one season of basketball. After leaving WNA Scootie attended The University of Alabama where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and held several offices. After graduating, she returned to WNA and worked in Admissions for a few years before returning to Alabama where she went to work for Spring Hill College as the Assistant Director of Alumni Programs and then was promoted to the Director of Alumni Programs. Since then, she has also worked for a boutique marketing agency as the Director of Interactive Marketing.

Scootie has served as the President of the University of Alabama Alumni Association, Mobile Chapter; President of the Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Mobile Chapter, was the runner up in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man/ Woman of the Year fundraiser, and has volunteered with many local organizations including membership in the Junior League of Mobile. She is a loyal volunteer at her children’s school and serves on the boards for their lacrosse and swim organizations. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and anything having to do with Alabama football.

Scootie resides in Mobile, Alabama with her husband Jason and three boys, Hunter, Steuart, and Hooper.
