We are excited to welcome Syed Hasan to West Nottingham Academy as a science teacher and e-sports coach. Syed was born and raised in Bangladesh, where his journey in science and education began. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics at Jahangirnagar University, one of Bangladesh’s most prominent institutions. His academic pursuits then led him to the United States, where he earned a Master’s in Physics from Baylor University in Texas, followed by another Master’s in Space Sciences from Florida Institute of Technology. Alongside his academic career, Syed was actively involved in competitive e-sports during his college years, bringing with him not only a deep understanding of science but also a strategic and enthusiastic approach to competitive gaming. He will be leading WNA’s e-sports program, inspiring students both in the classroom and in the arena. Beyond science and gaming, Syed is deeply passionate about literature, psychology, history, and philosophy. In his free time, he enjoys translating poetry between Bengali, English, and Urdu, bridging cultures and languages through art and reflection.
