As the oldest boarding school in the United States, West Nottingham Academy has a tradition of philanthropy that spans nearly three centuries. Since the school’s founding in 1744, thousands of alumni, parents, and friends have made it a priority to support the school’s mission.

Unrestricted gifts allow West Nottingham the greatest flexibility in meeting operational needs tied to strategic initiatives, as well as unanticipated needs that emerge during the academic year. While leadership gifts to the Nottingham Fund comprise an important part of operational support, the collective impact of donors, at all levels, creates a positive financial impact on the school beyond that of any single donor.
