Jonathan Adams brings a rich and varied background to West Nottingham Academy, with a career that spans entrepreneurship in publishing, corporate education, and public education. His dynamic perspective on instructional leadership and coaching is grounded in both practical experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence.
As a seasoned Instructional Coach and former English Language Arts instructor, Jonathan has dedicated his career to empowering students and educators across diverse backgrounds. His approach blends classical pedagogy with innovative 21st-century methods, creating balanced, forward-thinking learning environments.
Renowned for his commitment to literacy across disciplines and effective educational technology integration, Jonathan fosters meaningful growth through strong relationships, a growth mindset, and a foundation of sound instructional practice. He believes that developing great educators and students begins with developing people—nurturing not just skills, but a sense of community and civic responsibility.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University, with a minor in Developmental Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from North Carolina State University, where he was inducted into the National Honor Society. He also holds a certification in AI Literacy from NCAAT.
