West Nottingham Academy celebrates Earth Week every year and this year is no exception. Beginning on Monday, April 19 and concluding on Friday, April 23, students, faculty, and staff will enjoy a week of programming, volunteering, and education addressing ways we can help our environment and sustain our world. 2-3 pm: Dr. Jalonne White-Newsome
Dr. White-Newsome will be speaking to students and sharing her experiences as an environmental consultant. Dr. White-Newsome focuses her work on Environmental justice and collaborates and inspires communities to develop strategies for justice. She will be sharing her story, explaining some of her greatest projects, and will offer any insight and advice she can share.
