Suzanna Richter is currently serving as the Dean of Students and teaches Health. She earned a B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and has published peer-reviewed journal articles about climate change and forest ecosystems. From 2008-2019, she taught over a dozen Environmental courses at Franklin & Marshall College (F&M), and from 2011-2019, she was also the Dean of an F&M residential College House, where she worked with faculty and hundreds of students to plan educational programs and oversaw judicial matters. Suzanna taught courses for the F&M College Prep program and also developed and co-led a multi-week institute for middle and high school science teachers that focused on the environment and sustainability. From 2017-2019, working with students and F&M staff, she helped to create the leadership course ‘Building Better Leaders,’ based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development. She is enthusiastic about WNA’s mission and is pleased to work with WNA’s staff to continue the school’s legacy of educating global leaders. Suzanna’s favorite hobby is horseback riding.
