Kerrie Husband-McGregor, Ms. H-M, has been an educator for over 20 years, and a Learning Specialist for a decade. She came to West Nottingham Academy with a B.A. in Secondary English Education, an M.Ed. from Loyola University as a Reading Specialist, an appreciation for diversity, and an understanding that the learning environment transcends the classroom. Helping high school students develop and refine executive function skills is a specialty that Ms. H-M has refined over the years. While fostering a love of learning through helping students to identify and tap their strengths, Ms. H-M teaches academic self-advocacy and fosters empowering students to develop the executive-function skills necessary for lifelong learning. When not serving as Director of the Chesapeake Learning Center or teaching Psychology, Ms. H-M enjoys spending time with her two daughters, their dogs, yoga, traveling abroad, and engaging in community-service projects.
