11/19/22 LOSS WNA 102- TRI STATE 104 (Double OT)

The Rams fell short against a tough Tri-State Prep team in double overtime 104-102. It was the highest scoring game of the year thus far for our Rams and it was a very high level, exciting game. The Rams trailed throughout the first half but were never out the game. The Rams had a balanced attack offensively to keep them in the game in the first half.

Trailing by 8 going into the second half, the Rams went on a run that gave them the lead! The second half was a back and forth battle with a lot of lead changes. The Rams had opportunities down the stretch in regulation to win the game, but they did not capitalize from the free throw line which forced two overtimes. The Rams gave up a basket with less than 5 seconds left in the second overtime and fell short 104-102.

For the first time this season, the Rams had three players with 20 or more points. Post graduate Micah Morgan led all scorers with 27 points, post grad TJ Vaughn scored 26 points, and post graduate Terry Long added 20. Junior Josh Ania added 18 points.

The Rams play Phelps in the final day of the Westtown Tournament 11/20 at 10am.

11/18/22 LOSS 61- WESTTOWN 81

The rams lose the opening game of the Westtown Tournament against Westtown 84-61. There were several lead changes in the first half and post graduate guard TJ Vaughn kept the rams in the game by making four of his first 5 three pointers. The rams trailed by 8 at the half.

Westtown continued their efficient play on the offensive end and the Rams did not get enough stops to keep the game close enough in the second half. With about 10 mins remaining in the game, Westtown increased the lead which ultimately captured the win for them.


TJ Vaughn led all scorers with 25 points. The Rams have a quick turnaround, as they play Tri-State Prep in the Westtown Tournament tomorrow 11/19 at 4pm.

11/16/22 LOSS- WNA 76- SOCAL 124

The Rams traveled to the Scotland Campus Invitational to play the preseason #19 team in the country, Southern California Academy. SoCal jumped out to a double-digit lead, shooting a very high field goal percentage from three-point range. The Rams made several runs in the game to cut the lead led by sophomore guard DJ Brown, but SoCal continued to shoot the ball successfully, which made it very difficult for the Rams to get back into the game.

Dj Brown led all scorers with 31 points, and TJ Vaughn added 17 points. The Rams travel to Westtown for a tournament Friday 11/18 @ 6pm.

11/15/22 LOSS- WNA 69- PERKIOMEN 97

The Rams started off to a slow start in all phases of the game against a very good GAC Perkiomen team. Perkiomen jumped out to a double-digit lead within the first few mins of the game and unfortunately led throughout the entire game. Sophomore DJ Brown and post grad Micah Morgan tried to spark the Rams with some offense throughout the game, but foul trouble and missed assignments on defense were the reasons why Perkiomen was able to maintain a comfortable lead.

Micah Morgan led the Rams in scoring with a season high 29 points, while DJ Brown added 19 points. The Rams are now 1-2 with a quick turnaround tomorrow @ Scotland Campus against the #19 team in the country Southern California Academy at 4pm.

11/6/2022:WIN- WNA 80 vs. Scotland Campus 73 (K)                                                                            The Rams defeated Scotland K at the Scotland Invitational 80-73. The Rams got off to a slow start and trailed for the entire first half. Post Graduate TJ Vaughn led the Rams in scoring in the first half to keep the game close. The Rams trailed 38-32 at the half. The Rams came out on fire offensively led by TJ Vaughn and sophomore DJ Brown. The Rams were able to get multiple stops in a row and made some shots which led to the Rams taking the lead early in the second half and they maintained that lead to secure the win. Sophomore DJ Brown led all scorers with 28 points, 4 steals, and 3 blocks, post graduate TJ Vaughn added 27 points, and 9 rebounds, and post graduate Terry Long also added 18 points. The Rams will play Perkiomen in their season opener 11/15 at 3:45pm.

11/5/2022: LOSS- WNA 50- Quality Academy 53                                                                                     The Rams fell short in their season opener at the Difference Makers Showcase to Quality Academy 53-50. It was a very close game throughout, the Rams led for most of the first half. Foul trouble and Quality Academy capitalizing at the free throw line, kept them in the game and the score was tied at the half. There were several lead changes in the second half. The rams biggest lead was 5, and they trailed by as many as 11 points. No matter the score, the Rams played hard to the last minute. The Rams created a few turnovers and converted those into points in the final minutes of the game which led to a game tying shot attempt by sophomore guard DJ Brown as time expired that did not fall. Post Graduate Micah Morgan led the Rams in scoring with 15 points. He also added 4 steals and 4 rebounds. Post Graduate TJ Vaughn added 14 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Sophomore DJ Brown scored 12 points. The Rams (0-1), travel to Scotland Campus tomorrow 11/6 to compete in the Scotland Invitational against Scotland K.
